Former India cricketers MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina share a close bond. Raina even announced his retirement from international cricket shortly after Dhoni bid adieu to Team India in an Instagram post in 2020.

The two former India teammates may not be sharing the dressing room anymore but that has certainly not impacted their camaraderie.

According to media reports, Dhoni and his wife Sakshi recently hosted Raina.

Former India cricketer Pragyan Ojha also met with Dhoni.

Sharing a picture of their meet, Raina wrote on Instagram, “We love you Mahi bhai”.

Ojha also uploaded a picture of him, standing next to Dhoni. “Thank you Mahi bhai… for having me over for dinner! God bless you and family,” the ex-India spinner wrote.

The posts went viral in no time and fans expressed their love and admiration for the former India cricketers in comments.

“This picture is enough to break the internet,” read a response.

Lavishing huge praise on Dhoni and Raina, one person commented, “We miss you on field thala and chinna thala forever.”

“Two legends in one frame,” wrote another social media user.

Another person called Dhoni and Raina’s interaction as the “reunion” of Chennai Super Kings.

“So sweet, my favourite and best duo,” read another reply.

Having retired from the international circuit, both Raina and Ojha are currently taking part in the Legends League Cricket. The two ex-Indian cricketers are representing the Urbanrisers Hyderabad franchise in the Legends League Cricket.

Raina is also handling the leadership duties of Urbanrisers Hyderabad in the competition.

Apart from Raina and Ojha, the Urbanrisers Hyderabad team comprise some other prominent figures like Dwayne Smith and Martin Guptill.

Dhoni, on the other hand, led Chennai Super Kings to their fifth Indian Premier League (IPL) title earlier year.

Chennai Super Kings defeated Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023 final to win the title.

With the IPL 2023 triumph, Dhoni became the joint-most successful skipper in the history of the competition.

He matched Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma’s record for winning five IPL trophies.
