After getting thrashed by India, Sri Lanka will look to gain some confidence when they square off against Asian rivals Bangladesh in their upcoming game of the ICC ODI World Cup.
The Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi will host the 50-over contest on November 6.
Both teams would’ve been disappointed with their performances so far in the competition.
With one victory in seven matches, Bangladesh are reeling at the ninth place on the points table.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka have managed to overcome only Netherlands and England in their seven appearances. With four points on the card, the Islanders are slightly in a better position in the standings.

Sri Lanka were unable to showcase their A-game in any department against India. Their bowlers were punished at the hands of Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer. The situation was more disastrous for Sri Lanka during the chase. They faced a massive collapse and went on to lose all wickets for just 55 runs.
Bangladesh are also coming off a big loss to Pakistan. After batting first, Bangladesh were skittled for 204 runs.
It was an easy assignment for Pakistan, who completed the chase in 32.3 overs.
