Rubbishing media reports, Rajasthan's BJP President Vasundhara Raje said that her party has not zeroed in on a candidate for the upcoming assembly elections yet. The Rajasthan Assembly polls are slated for December this year.

She said that "a media channel has aired that BJP has already decided its candiate for state elections. It's not true"

"We will decide on who to declare the party's candidate on the basis of survey, feedback. We will also consult BJP's election committee and only then finalise," Raje said.

She also said that while deciding the 'popularity quotient' will also be kept in mind and the ticket will be given to the person who people would want as their leader.

"Anyone in the party who tries to get the ticket using unfair means will lose the opportunity and will straight away be shown the door," she further said.
