Wardha: As campaigning for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections gains pace, the war of words between Bharatiya Janata Party Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is intensifying. Addressing a rally in Wardha in Maharashtra on Friday, Rahul hit out at Modi yet again, slamming the Gujarat model.
Rahul Gandhi attacked the BJP campaign and Modi saying that like the India Shining campaign deflated in 2004, this time the party's Gujarat model is filled with gas and will burst soon.
"The people of India deflated the India Shining of NDA twice. This time they have blown a new, heavier balloon, the Gujarat model balloon filled with gas," Rahul said.
