BSP to support Congress in Uttarakhand
Congress MLAs have to decide on their Chief Minister by Monday.

New Delhi: The BSP on Sunday said that the party will give its support to Congress in the formation of the government in Uttarakhand. Talking to CNN-IBN, BSP state president Surajbhan said that BSP will support Congress in Uttarakhand. The party has 3 MLAs and is most likely to be part of the government. Congress MLAs have to decide on their Chief minister by Monday.

"We are supporting Congress on instructions from party high command. We have not kept any demand with the congress, he said.

He also said that senior Congress leaders were in touch with him on the issue.

State Congress chief Yashpal Arya, who has emerged as the front runner for the post, is meeting Congress General Secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad in the capital. Key leaders from the state Harish Rawat, Vijay Bahuguna and Birender Singh are also present at the meeting.
