The party alleged that the Election Commission officials in Goa were not paying heed to their complaints.
Panaji: BJP on Friday alleged that the state police was siding with the ruling Congress ahead of the forthcoming Assembly elections in Goa and accused the Election Commission of turning a blind eye towards their complaints.
BJP Goa spokesman Vishnu Wagh told reporters that there have been several attempts by ruling party leaders to use police machinery against BJP activists who are campaigning for the March 3 polls.
"Police have been telling our workers not to work for BJP. They are threatening severe action if our workers don't listen to their commands," he said.
