Do not raise unnecessary questions: Hooda to MLAs
Hooda urged the legislators"not to waste time by raising unnecessary issues in the House.

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Tuesday expressed concern over the present state of affairs in state Assembly and appealed legislators not to waste time by raising unnecessary issues in the House. Hooda said,"he was disappointed as now-a-days neither the state assemblies witness debate, as used to be the practice earlier, nor do the legislators behave in a manner they are expected to."

Speaking at a function at Pinjore, Haryana, near Chandigarh, Hooda urged the legislators "not to waste time by raising unnecessary issues in the House". Hooda, who is also leader of the House in Haryana Vidhan Sabha, said he was a little disappointed with the behaviour of legislators in state assemblies.

"Some of them aim at stalling the proceedings of the House and such an attitude adversely affects the image of the leaders because people see the conduct of the legislators in Vidhan Sabhas through the media," he said, an official release quoting him said Chandigarh. He said that at present, there are 46 first time MLAs in the 90-member Haryana assembly.
