Election Commission stops BJP from publishing ads against grand alliance; pulls up Lalu too
The Election Commission's action comes after the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) filed a complaint with them.

New Delhi: The Election Commission pulled up the BJP over its print advertisements against the Mahagathbandhan in Bihar on Friday.

The action was taken after a delegation from the RJD met EC officials and lodged a complaint.

A delegation of the 'Grand Alliance' approached the poll panel, demanding that BJP chief Amit Shah be barred from entering Bihar till the "poll process is over". "Shah's remarks are inflammatory... He is a habitual conspirator," said KC Tyagi of the Janata Dal United, after meeting the Election Commission.

Election Commission on Friday stopped BJP from publishing advertisements against Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance). The election watchdog found the BJP advertisements inflammatory.

The Election Commission's action comes after the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) filed a complaint with them.

The EC has also asked the Patna Election Officer to register an FIR against RJD chief Lalu Prasad for calling BJP chief Amit Shah a man-eater and a madman.
