New Delhi: In a day of good news for the Bharatiya Janata Party, two members of the Asom Gana Parishad have joined the party and the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha has formed alliance with it.

BJP president Rajnath Singh announced, "Two members of the AGP have joined the BJP. I would also like to thank Bimal Gurung (of the GJM) for extending his help to us for the upcoming elections."
