Information and Broadcasting Minister says he got threats five times.
New Delhi: Information and Broadcasting Minister P R Dasmunsi shocked the Lok Sabha on Thursday when he alleged that he had been threatened five times for trying to curb manipulation of Television Rating Points (TRP).
"TRP is a game plan. In a nation of 100 crore population, meters were installed only in selected houses, ignoring the entire Bihar and the northeastern region," he said.
"I received threat five times," he said, adding a BJP MP who explained to him how TRP is manipulated with was also threatened.
