Jagdambika Pal quit the Congress saying that he felt neglected by the party.
New Delhi: Former Congress leader Jagdambika Pal joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday. "I accept Jagdambika Pal as the member of the BJP. He will add to the strength of the party, I welcome him," BJP president Rajnath Singh said.
Apart from Jagdambika, stand up comedian Raju Srivastava also joined the party.
Srivastava was with the Samajwadi Party earlier. However, he quit after he was refused a ticket from Kanpur.
