JDS presents 'scam papers' in K'taka Assembly
JDS leader HD Revanna claims the documents nail Yeddyurappa in the alleged land scam.

Bangalore: It's been a chaotic five days at the Karnataka assembly with Janata Dal (Secular) and Congress leaders targeting Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa over his alleged involvement in land deals.

On Wednesday JDS leader HD Revanna walked in with other party members carrying placards and a suitcase allegedly containing documents which they claimed nailed Yeddyurappa in the alleged land scam.

Congress leader Siddaramaiah demanded Yeddyurappa's resignation over the alleged land scam. Yeddyurappa has been accused of favouring his sons and many relatives in allotment of government land, as well as denotifying government land to private parties.

Karnataka opposition has been demanding a discussion on the alleged land scam through an adjournment motion which has been denied by Assembly Speaker KG Bopaiah.

The Opposition staged a walk-out in protest, after which the government went ahead with passing some bills.

The Assembly session is on for 10 days and halfway through there is no sign of normalcy.

Karnataka Assembly has been witnessing chaotic scenes every time it has met since July 2010.
