The counting of votes for the Legislative Council elections in Bihar is underway, with the initial results suggesting a close battle between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA and Janata Dal-United (JDU).
So far, BJP has won 11 seats while 1 seat has been won by an independent candidate. RJD-JDU-Congress have won eight seats, LJP has won one seat. Results for 3 seats are pending.
