The Election Commission said that 73.46 per cent voter turnout was registered in Andhra which is the highest ever in the history of the state.
Voting for the eighth phase of the 2014 Lok Sabha elections began on Wednesday across 64 constituencies in seven seats. One of the most watched battles in this phase is that of Amethi where Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is pitted against BJP's Smriti Irani and AAP's Kumar Vishwas.
