New Delhi: Nagaland Governor Ashwini Kumar has resigned from his post, days after he informed Home Minister Rajnath Singh that he willing to step down.
According to sources, Kumar had met Rajnath last week and offered to put down his papers.
This comes amidst Narendra Modi government's decision to remove governors appointed during the UPA regime.
As of now, governors of Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh have tendered their resignations.
