Just a few days after the Janata Dal United-Rashtriya Janata Dal-Congress Mahagathbandhan swept the Bihar state elections, the contours of the new cabinet are slowly emerging.

According to sources, the swearing-in ceremony will take place after Chhat Puja and is likely on November 20.

The sources said that Bihar could have a 35 member Cabinet with 16 ministers from the RJD, 14 from the JDU and 5 from the Congress.

Lalu Yadav's sons and now MLAs Tej Pratap Yadav and Tejaswi may become Cabinet ministers. Other RJD MLAs who may be inducted into the Cabinet include Abdul Bari Siddique, Lalit Yadav, Alok Mehta and Vijay Kumar.

Ministers from the Congress camp could be Ashok Chaudhary, Sadanand Singh, Awadesh Singh, Ashok Kumar and Amita Bhushan.

The Mahagathbandhan won 178 seats in the 243-member assembly with JDU winning 71 seats, RJD 80 and Congress 27.
