Kolkata: In an effort to lend a professional touch to his election campaign in Jangipur, West Bengal Congress president Pranab Mukherjee has roped in an advertising agency which has chalked out audio-visual and road shows for him.
The External Affairs Minister has already participated in some of the road shows planned out by the advertising agency in the villages of the sprawling constituency.
The road shows include tableaux, a documentary detailing Mukherjee's accomplishments and his work in the past five years.
Adman Srenik Sett, who is looking after the advertising of the minister, said a documentary film highlighting the minister's work for the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) and involvement in sports activity in his constituency was lined up.
“The documentary will detail his success in the NREGS, setting up of Sagardighi College, a mega food park near Raghunathgunj and will have footages on successful football tournaments, chess and carom competition he organised in his constituency,” Sett added.
The slogan for the campaign is Kajer Manush. Kacher Manush. Unnayaner Pranpurush (A man of deeds. A man of the masses).
