New Delhi: Swaraj Abhiyan (SA) leader Prashant Bhushan on Monday met social activist Anna Hazare to discuss the contentious Land Acquisition Bill and the One Rank One Pension issue.
"It was a courtesy call to thank Anna for the support he has extended to the Jai Kisan Andolan. Prashant Bhushan also invited Anna for the August 19 Jai Kisan Rally," a SA leader said.
Hazare has extended support to the Jai Kisan Andolan, which is being undertaken by Swaraj Abhiyan --an organisation founded by expelled AAP leaders Bhushan, Yogendra Yadav, Anand Kumar and Ajit Tyagi.
Bhushan, along with his father Shanti and Kejriwal, were part of Hazare's core team that undertook protests a Janlokpal Bill.
The meeting between Bhushan and Hazare comes a day after the Gandhian activist met Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal and his Deputy Manish Sisodia.
During the meeting on Sunday, Hazare asked Kejriwal about the expulsion of Bhushan and Yadav and urged him to reconcile as they are "old colleagues".
