New Delhi: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will interact with over 200 representatives from various minority communities, including Muslims, on Monday to solicit their views and find out their demands and aspirations which may find a place in the party's 2014 poll manifesto.

After holding a meeting with representatives of Dalits, tribal and OBCs on December 13, Rahul will now meet a select group of people from different religions.

"200 plus representatives from different minorities-Muslims, Sikhs, Christians will meet Rahul Gandhi today. They will discuss social, political and economic issues and will flag their demands in the meeting," a senior Congress leader said.

Rahul will hold interactions with them to include their demands and aspirations in the manifesto, he added.

On December 13, Rahul had held a similar interaction with 235 leaders from the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Castes to discuss their demands so that the Congress could incorporate them in its manifesto for next year's general elections.

He embarked on this exercise after the dismal performance of Congress in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Delhi Assembly polls.
