New Delhi: If all goes well, the Centre will take that big decision on Telangana on Tuesday. The Centre has convened a special meeting of the Union Cabinet to decide on Telangana. During an informal talk, Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has informed the media that the final decision on the creation of the Telangana state will be taken in the meeting on December 3.
He also added that all options on the state capital Hyderabad will be put before the Cabinet and the final decision will be taken there.
According to top sources confusion remains on whether to hand over law and order and land related issues to the Governor till the time Hyderabad is a joint capital of both the states.
Telangana leaders are opposed to this while the Seemandhra leaders are apprehensive that their property in Telangana might be targeted once the new state is made.
