New Delhi: The Trinamool Congress' youth wing is set to launch its road show in Jhargram in West Midnapore district on Saturday. The party is hoping to spread the message among locals that there is no need to panic over Maoist threats.
The road show also aims to politically strengthen the local mindset against the Maoists.
Trinamool Youth Congress chief and party MP from Tamluk, Suvendu Adhikary are heading this rally.
Suspected Maoists opened fire at a public meeting in Jhargram in West Bengal on November 6. The attack came on anti-Maoist Janajagaran Manch at Jhargram.
Several people were injured in the suspected Maoist attack.
