Supriya Pathare has left an indelible mark in the Marathi entertainment industry through her appearances in films and TV shows. With her powerful supporting roles, she has carved a niche for herself in the Marathi cinema, winning many hearts. Supriya’s son, Mihir Pathare, ventured into business when he opened his hotel named Maharaj in Thane. However, a few months after the inauguration, the hotel was shut down twice, impacting the financial situation of the actress. Recently, the actress opened up about the difficulties she faced in bringing the hotel back to life.
The hotel, which initially received a good response and was functioning well, was shut down. There was a time when celebrities used to visit this hotel for its intriguing architecture, tempting cuisine, and other services.
In an interview with Lokmat Filmi recently, the actress spoke about the hotel and said that in August 2023, the hotel was opened. After a few months, the staff ran away causing financial damage to her son. Since the actress’ son suffered a huge loss, she sold her jewellery to start the venture again.
Supriya Pathare told the media house, “I sold all the jewellery and did everything as it was impossible to get out of the crisis. It is okay to take money from someone, and then arrange everything. But I had no idea how many months it would take and how long would I take to return the money to the person whom I would have asked for help at that time.”
Notably, Supriya’s son Mihir pursued his degree in hotel management as he enjoyed cooking and trying different dishes. To convert his passion into a career, Mihir initially started a food truck in Thane with his mother and family. Given the good response received by the food truck, he decided to open a restaurant.
Supriya Pathare is known for her portrayal in Pudhcha Paaul as Kanchanmala. She also played Mothi Aai in Honar Sun Me Hya Gharchi and participated in Fu Bai Fu as a contestant.
