South Actress Prabha’s Son Gets Hitched; Chiranjeevi, Murali Mohan Attend His Wedding
Prabha's son, Raja Ramesh got married to Sai Aparna, the daughter of late Vijay Ram Raju Vedagiri and Shirisha from Vijayawada.

The who’s-who of the Telugu film industry, fondly referred to as Tollywood, were recently spotted at the Golconda Resorts in Gandipet on Wednesday morning. The event marked renowned South actress Prabha’s son, Raja Ramesh’s wedding to Sai Aparna, the daughter of late Vijay Ram Raju Vedagiri and Shirisha from Vijayawada. Numerous prominent people from the political and film industries were present, adding to the event’s traditional grandeur and liveliness. It was a star-studded wedding ceremony under the bright Hyderabad sky. Megastar Chiranjeevi, Murali Mohan, and Victory Venkatesh — all notable figures in the Telugu cinema industry — were among the guests. These celebrities’ attendance not only enhanced the glitz of the occasion but also demonstrated the reverence and respect that the bride’s mother-in-law, Prabha, demanded.

Saikumar, Nandamuri Ramakrishna, Nandamuri Mohan Krishna, Producer Damodara Prasad, Prasannakumar, Boyapati Srinu, Bellamkonda Suresh, SV Krishna Reddy, Achireddy, Suman, Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy and Rashi Annamwees Narasimha Rao were among others present at the wedding. Telugu Desam Party leader Alapathi Raja also attended the ceremony.

Prabha is a well-known figure in South cinema, with 150–200 Telugu and other language films to her credit. She made her film debut as a heroine with the film Needa Leni Aadathe. She has worked opposite NTR, Ayannar, Krishna, Shobhan Babu, Krishnan Raju, Murali Mohan, Chandramohan, Mohan Babu, Kamal Haasan, and Chiranjeevi, as their female lead. Her roles are indelible in Telugu history, especially in the epic Danaveerasura Karna. Prabha is not just an actress but also a skilled Kuchipudi dancer, having studied under the famous dance master Vempati Chinasatyam. Throughout the wedding festivities, her artistic legacy reverberated.

Her marriage and dance debut occurred simultaneously. She performed 40 times in the USA. She had an accident during filming that involved the car tipping over and boiling water spilling into her legs from the radiator. She spent about two months in pain from those burns. She brought this up in an episode of Alitho Saradaga, a Telugu talk programme.
