Mahesh Manjrekar is one of the prominent names in Indian cinema and is known for his phenomenal work in the films Vaastav: The Reality, Kaante and others. He has now stirred the headlines for his upcoming Marathi film Juna Furniture which has been written and directed by him. The teaser launch of this movie happened at Aaji Ajoba Udhyan at Shivaji Park, where another important icon of Bollywood, Salim Khan was the chief guest.
The teaser of Juna Furniture is now available on the YouTube channel of Satya Saiee Films as well. The teaser shows Mahesh Manjrekar walking amidst the pillars and talking about the plight of senior citizens in today’s times when they are considered nothing more than old furniture by their kids. The glimpse looks even more brilliant with Mahesh Manrekar’s powerful dialogue delivery. It is slated to release in theatres on April 26.
Besides Salim Khan, other important dignitaries present at the teaser launch were Upendra Limaye, Medha Manjrekar and Anusha Dandekar. Meanwhile, Mahesh Manjrekar and Medha Manjrekar also interacted with the senior citizens present at the teaser launch.
Hitesh Modak, SRM alien and DH Hrmony have rendered music to the film while Vaibhav Deshmukh and Vaibhav Joshi have penned the lyrics of Juna Furniture. Mahesh Manjrekar, Ashish Kulkarni, and Varun Likhate are the playback singers and Ajit Reddy is associated as the cinematographer of the film.
At the teaser launch, Mahesh Manjrekar also appreciated the Being Human endeavour by Salim Khan. The 65-year-old- celebrity said, “We always say that Being Human is Salman Khan’s foundation. But it is run by Salim Saheb. It’s amazing. He has helped lakhs of people. We have a friend Dr Lalit Anande. He was the charge at TB Hospital. The only thing he doesn’t do is worship Salim Saheb’s image as God. He says that they are always in need of Vitamin C and he always gets all its stock from Salim Saheb."
In addition to Juna Furniture, the Kaante actor will also act in the film Kaal Trighori written and directed by Nitin Vaidya. This film is currently in post-production and is expected to release in May 2024.
