Facebook Brings Instant Articles to Messenger

Facebook has announced that users will now be able to open Instant Articles in Messenger. The new feature will first be available for Android, followed by iPhone in the coming weeks.

As Facebook explains, Instant Articles load up to ten times faster than a standard mobile web article.

Currently, links shared via Messenger load in a mobile browser, which can be a slow experience, especially in places where low connectivity is an issue.

But with Instant Articles in Messenger, users will be able to have the "same fast, interactive experience reading" that they have in the Facebook app.
