New Delhi: Expanding its product lineup, Micromax has launched a new smartphone - the Canvas Xpress 4G - in India. The phone features a 5-inch HD display and runs Android 5.1 OS.
Powered by a quad-core processor paired with 2GB DDR3 RAM, the new Micromax phone comes with an internal storage of 16 GB (expandable up to 32 GB using a microSD card). It sports an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera.
The phone will be exclusively available on Flipkart.
Micromax has also partnered with Airtel to provide an introductory 4G double data offer for a period of 6 months across its 4G range of smartphones.
The company started its strategic relationship with Flipkart on its exclusive series called Xpress around August this year with the launch of Xpress 2. In less than 3 months, Micromax says to have sold over 300k units of the Xpress 2.
