Most Smartphone Users in India Prefer 4G Connectivity
A recent Twitter Poll highlighted that over 60 percent of smartphone users in the country are using 4G connectivity on their handsets.

With 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphones taking over the older 3G-enabled handsets, consumers mostly prefer 4G connectivity when it comes to connecting to the Internet from their smartphone.

Riding the Reliance Jio wave, smartphone brands are mostly launching 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphones across all price segments to further boost the 4G ecosystem in the country. Having said this, Huawei’s online brand Honor India will launch a new affordable smartphone with dual cameras at the back in January 2017.

Dubbed as the ‘Swag Phone’, Honor India recently hosted a preview event to showcase its Honor 6X handset in New Delhi. The Honor 6X with dual cameras at the back was earlier launched in China and is set to arrive in India.Also read: SWAG PHONE CAPTURES THE RAJASTHAN FOOD TRAIL

The Honor 6X 3GB/ 32GB memory variant was launched for RMB 999 which roughly translates to Rs 9,700. The 4GB RAM variant of the Honor 6X costs RMB 1,299 or around Rs 12,700.

The Honor 6X is powered by an octa-core Kirin 655 processor and sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display. The dual camera setup at the back consists of 12MP and 2MP sensors and in the front there is an 8MP selfie camera.
