Karan Kundrra Recalls Messaging Ektaa Kapoor For Work During His Struggling Days: 'So Much Risk...'
On Wednesday, Karan Kundrra shared a series of newspaper clippings from his initial career days and penned down a long note.

From his debut show Kitani Mohabbat Hai in 2009 to now his upcoming Bollywood movie Thank You For Coming, Karan Kundrra has surely come a long way. On Wednesday, the actor took to his Instagram handle and participated in ‘I Have Come a Long Way’ challenge. Karan shared a series of newspaper clippings from his initial career days and penned down a long note. Karan recalled he had sent a message to Ektaa Kapoor in 2008 asking for work and revealed how it changed his life.

“From the first time you showed up on a newspaper to actually getting an acting job thanks to @ektarkapoor ma’am for checking her Facebook DM on that fateful day back in 2008 haha. You didn’t know what you were doing or where you were headed.. there’s so much doubt, so much risk, so much embarrassment when you fail.. and yet you chose to keep going.. from laughing stock to reigning your domain.. you did it just by not giving up,” the actor wrote. Ektaa also reacted to Karan’s post and commented, “This boy! Thanku for coming karan in myDMn in my life!!!” Besides Ektaa, Bhumi Pednekar also reacted to Karan’s post and dropped a red heart emoji.

Fans also showered love on their favourite actor and appreciated his acting journey. “OMG… you’ve come long way @kkundrra ❤️❤️ more power to you,” one of the fans wrote. Another social media user shared, “So proud of your journey”.

Talking about Thank You For Coming, the film also stars Shehnaaz Gill, Bhumi Pednekar, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh and Shibani Bedi in key roles. Directed by Karan Boolani, Thank You For Coming is produced by Rhea Kapoor. The film was first premiered at the festival on Friday, September 15 and then on Saturday, September 16.
