Television actress Jigyasa Singh, who rose to fame with Thapki Pyar Ki, took to her Instagram stories recently and quashed her death rumours. She shared a screenshot of the YouTube videos which were titled ‘Thapki pyaar ki actress passed away | Last video’ and ‘Actress Thapki has passed away-Shocking News’. Alongwith the screenshot, Jigyasa clarified that she is alive and urged everyone to stop spreading fake news.
“Who are these people spreading this? (laugh emoji) Guys, I am alive! MIRACLE MIRACLE! Stop spreading this fake news on fake channels,” she wrote.
Jigyasa Sinha is known for her role in Thapki Pyar Ki. In the show, Jigyasa’s performance was widely loved by all but the show went off-air in 2017. Later, Jigyasa returned with the second season of the show but left it due to health issues. She was then replaced by Prachi Bansal.
“I decided to take a break because I have been struggling with some health issues for the past four-five months. I assumed that all the tiredness and restlessness were a result of a hectic shooting schedule. However, after a few tests, I got to know that I had developed a few problems because of continuous shooting. It took a toll on my health,” she told E-Times after leaving Thapki Pyaar Ki.
“I just want to take some rest and focus on my health. I want to be absolutely fine so that I can work for a long time without any break. It was a very tough call for me, but I feel that everyone should put their health on priority,” she had said.
Besides Jigyasa Singh, Thapki Pyar Ki also starred Aakash Ahuja in the lead.
Besides Thapki Pyar Ki, Jigyasa Singh also featured in the popular show Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.
