However, a soaked outfield led to a washout, earning the United States and Ireland one point each. With victories over Canada and Pakistan, the United States advanced to the Super Eights with a notable 5 points. Pakistan, facing Ireland in Florida on Sunday, could only reach a maximum of four points.
