Snakes, especially the cobras are one of the deadliest and scariest reptiles existing on earth. The mere mention of these serpents can send chills down the spine of a person. As per Local18 Hindi, a teacher named Baban Kumar Singh faced this horrifying situation when he found 5 cobra snakes in his house.
Baban hails from Chapra Sadar Block Office, Dumari Adda, Bihar. The incident occurred when he was getting his old house razed and building a new one in its place. The construction workers stumbled upon a cobra when they broke the floor of the house. The workers were shocked when they discovered five more cobras underneath the floor. The most terrifying thing was that Baban’s bedroom used to be at this spot and he was unaware of the presence of cobras.
Forest guard Manish Kumar and his team have rescued all the snakes and released them safely in their natural habitat. Manish said that a large portion of the floor had to be broken for the safe evacuation of the cobras. Manish and his team had to undergo a strenuous job to rescue the snakes. There was a commotion in the village after the natives learned about the incident. The natives assembled at the spot and shot the incident on their cellphones.
Some might confuse between the cobra and the king cobra. As per A-Z Animals, there are significant differences between a king cobra and a cobra. King Cobra is 12-18 feet long and weighs 10-20 pounds. On the other hand, Cobra is 2-10 feet long and weighs 5-10 pounds. King Cobras are capable of rising to four feet to stand and threaten prey or foes. These serpents also have enough venom to kill an elephant in a single bite. Meanwhile, Cobras live in a variety of habitats and locations. They are venomous and do not eat other snakes.
