It is not every day that you would find the world’s seventh-richest man munching on a hot dog from a street stall. One such instance recently caught the internet’s attention when Bill Gates, the Microsoft co-founder and a prominent philanthropist, was seen at Times Square in New York. In a series of videos shared by photojournalist Elder Ordonez, the 68-year-old billionaire indulged in the classic New York snack, seemingly as a part of a shoot. While the first video shows him standing in front of the cart vendor, waiting for his order, the following one has Gates enjoying the treat. At one point, he even posed with the hot dog seller for pictures.
Dressed casually in black trousers with a blue sweater, Gates posed humbly for the cameras upon being approached by Ordonez. The videos and pictures went instantly viral, with many reacting to the businessman’s partake in such a simple pleasure.
