Dogs invading the ground during a football or cricket match might not be a rare scene. But have you ever heard of a television broadcast being interrupted by a dog? This actually happened recently in Bolivia. An anchor was busy addressing the audience when a puppy climbed up on her desk. This, however, is not the end of the story. The adorable canine was brought to the set for a campaign promoting pet adoption. It was playing around the newsroom and somehow reached the place where the live broadcast was going on.
The anchor looked unfazed about the interference. She was petting the dog while demonstrating the need to adopt strays. In a shocking turn of events, the puppy chose to defecate on live television. It was spotted arching its back and relieving itself on the anchor’s desk.
The incident, reported by the New York Post, undoubtedly came as a shock not only for the woman hosting the show but also for every crew member, who was present inside the room. According to the reports, the anchor immediately looked away and began to organise some papers. She was accompanied by two individuals and one of them handed her some paper towels.
A few days ago, a dog was seen running around the ground during an Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The incident led to a temporary interruption. The event was captured on the broadcaster’s camera. But what created controversy was behind-the-scene footage.
In a fan-made video, some police officers and security personnel were seen chasing the dog on the sidelines. Despite handling the situation calmly, the individuals were captured kicking the innocent animal, which was trying its best to flee off the scene.

After the clip surfaced on the internet, many social media users and Bollywood celebrities like Varun Dhawan came forward to criticise the behaviour of the security personnel.
