Kaju Katli Bhajiya is Internet's New Bizarre Fusion That Has Foodies Begging, 'Please Stop'
Viral video shows a woman making Bhajiyas with everyone's favourite 'Kaju Katli' and internet just wants to scream, 'Enough.'

Ever wondered what’s the end of this culinary world? And when is that gonna happen? Well, with food items being spoiled to an extent nobody would’ve expected, one can’t help but say that the end is near! With every day bringing forth a new bizarre food combo that everyone just wants to throw up at, it’s either that our patience will run out and we’ll do something to end this internet trend, or simply, it will end us! Jokes apart, but what else do you expect to say?

Here it is – “Kaju Katli Bhajiya” or “Pakode,” call it what you may. Yes, we understand your immediate reaction might be a desperate plea of ‘Please, No!’ But the video of a Desi woman meticulously crafting them, grabbed attention on the internet, causing widespread eye-rolling. In the footage, she delicately selects sweet Kaju Katli pieces one by one, coating them in a batter predominantly composed of Besan (gram flour) and spices before immersing them in sizzling hot oil.

Though the poster spared us the horror of witnessing the final result, the preparation alone proved too much to bear.

Here it is:

“Why, why, why,” exclaimed one dismayed user on ‘X’. “They have special place in hell!!” quipped another, while a third cynically remarked, “What else to expect in Besan Yug.”

Meanwhile, fruit Pakodas have already made their mark in the market. Earlier, a video showcased a food vendor from Gujarat unveiling an unconventional culinary fusion. Traditional Pakode, a beloved Indian snack crafted from vegetables like onion and potato, were now being fashioned from fruits such as apple and guava, a notion that left many unsettled.

The vendor deftly sliced the fruits into delicate pieces, coating them in a batter comprised of Besan, spices, and water before immersing them in scalding oil. This weird approach failed to entice the palates of many food enthusiasts. To compound matters, he garnished the dish with ketchup and chopped coriander, a move that did little to redeem its reputation.

What's your reaction?
