Fashion designers Jordan Bowen and Luca Marchetto, under their brand Jordanluca, recently launched their latest pair of jeans, and the internet is calling them ‘pee stain denim’. The designers introduced the jeans on the fall/winter 2023 runway during Milan Fashion Week. The product features a dark stain in the crotch area that looks like a stain of urine. Despite the unique design, the jeans have gained attention and are now available online.

According to the New York Post, the original pair is priced at $811 (approximately Rs 67,000) and a lighter wash version is available for $608 (approximately Rs 50,000). The opinions of social media users are divided as some fashion enthusiasts are intrigued by this bold design, while others criticise the designers.

Talking about the unique design introduced by Jordan and Luca, Stavros Karelis, founder of Machine-A told Vogue, “Its statement elongated bell bottom trousers, as well as its strong tailoring propositions, has placed it on the top of the customer demand. I believe that the brand is going to be extremely popular in the coming seasons, establishing it as one of the key fashion players on an international level.”

Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “So 6-year-old me was wearing a designer?”

Another joked, “You ain’t cool unless you pee your pants.”

An individual shared, “Brainwashed fashion industry.”

“Love it, so that everyone who pisses their pants feels comfortable,” a comment read.

Another wrote, “I can make these at home.”

One more added, “The smell is included or you have to buy the perfume?”

According to Vogue Business, Jordanluca experienced 15% growth in brand sales from 2022 to 2023. They even surpassed the £400,000 mark in revenue. This impressive growth has not gone unnoticed, as the brand has captured the attention of popular fashion brands including Machine-A, Farfetch, Modesens, Slam Jam and others.

Previously, Wet Pants Denim grabbed attention online after they unveiled jeans that look something similar with Jordanluca’s jeans. According to CNET, the company assured customers that their design replicates the urinary leak without causing discomfort. The founder highlights that their products are “100% real.”

Surprisingly, these jeans came in various designs, like blue denim with a dark blue splotch, light grey denim with a dark grey spot or white with yellow dye for added realism. Called the “summer-inspired urinary incontinence jean” by the company, this style may shock or offen some individuals.
