A Pakistan-based doctor posted a video showing a unique spot where people from India and Pakistan can interact, as the area is separated by a river.

India and Pakistan are often seen as rival countries by outsiders, but the reality on the ground tells a different story. A recent video shared by a doctor from Pakistan shows the positive side of both nations. Taking to Instagram, the Pakistani doctor posted a clip showing a unique spot on Line of Control (LOC) where people from both the countries can interact, as the area is separated only by a river. In the video, she explained numerous ways to communicate and build connections despite the physical barrier. The video shows a group of people on the Pakistani side of the border waving and using gestures to communicate with their Indian neighbours. Social media users filled the comment section with love and positive messages.

The video, taken in Keran Valley, starts with a woman pointing to the Indian flag on the other side of the border. She then shares creative ways to connect with people across the river, such as offering a hand, waving, making heart shapes with their hands, inviting them for a game of cricket, and sharing their love for Sidhu Moose Wala. She then jokingly adds that if everything fails, exchange phone numbers. Sharing the clip, the doctor wrote, “Ways to Communicate with Neighbours across the Borders. The fun things to do on LOC. PEACE only.”

Reacting to the video, a user wrote, “Pakistani people are such fun, like them.”

Another shared, “This is so funny and sweet. Hope people can get back to their true humane roots and not get dragged into political agendas to divide.”

“Living in the USA made me realize how nice Indians are and there is literally no hate just like there is no hate in our hearts. Similar kinds of people, food, culture and values. I love working with them, hanging out with them, and teaching Indian kids,” a comment read.

Another wrote, “Divided by borders united by Sidhu Moose Wala.”

An individual observed, “So happy that this reverse engineering has started on Instagram to remove the hate and bring back love and humanity.”

One more added, “That’s the beauty of humanity.”

Since the Pakistani woman shared the video on Instagram, it has garnered over 18 lakh views.
