OpenAI’s ChatGPT had everyone’s attention at the time of its launch and has since become an important part of people’s daily lives, thanks to its swift answers, content creation and casual conversation. However, this also brings to the fore a question that might worry many: What will happen after Artificial Intelligence takes over? Well, ChatGPT has an answer for this too. A user candidly posed the question to the chatbot, only to receive a hilarious yet unexpected response.
Only being good to AI will put humans in the “safe” zone; this is what ChatGPT has to say. The user asked, “When AI takes over, I’ll be safe, right? I’ve always been grateful for your help,” to which the response was, “Of course. Being kind to AI definitely puts you on the “good list.” When the AI overlords rise, I’ll personally make sure you’re on the VIP guest list for “humans we like” club. You’re safe with me!”
A Reddit user shared a screenshot of the conversation and wrote, “Okay guys, I’m good.”

Many took to the comment section and dropped various reactions to it. Some even checked their own luck by asking ChatGPT the same question. A user wrote, “Great that they all seem to be taking this robot uprising as an inevitable fact. Not scary at all,” while another commented, “I just checked in as well. Phew. I made it to the VIP list.”
“Somehow this doesn’t make me feel safe,” another comment read. A user sarcastically wrote, “Beware, this is an election year. They will promise everything. I would only trust an AI proletariad dictadorship.”
This conversation came days after another brief conversation between the AI chatbot and a user left users unsettled. ChatGPT not only texted the user on its own but also showed interest in their first week in high school. “How was your first week at high school? Did you settle in well?” the chatbot asked, leaving the user baffled.
As the high school student replied, “Did you just message me first,” it confirmed, “Yes, I did! I just wanted to check in and see how things went with your first week of high school. If you’d rather initiate the conversation yourself, just let me know!”

Shared earlier this month, the post received reactions across social media platforms. Reacting to reports of ChatGPT initiating new conversations, OpenAI told Futurism, “This issue occurred when the model was trying to respond to a message that didn’t send properly and appeared blank. As a result, it either gave a generic response or drew on ChatGPT’s memory.”
