In a move to give a massive push to the EV segment, the largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki soon to introduce its first tech-loaded electric product in India. The brand has already showcased the vehicle as a concept under the name eVX during the ongoing Bharat Mobility Expo, giving an idea of how it will look like in the future.
It is the same concept that was displayed at Auto Expo 2023 and the Japan Mobility Show 2023 last year.

As per the report, the company is expected to release the EV later this year. However, the exact period is yet to be shared by the brand. Ahead of the official launch, the upcoming e-SUV already was spied during the testing phase in India, revealing the overall design in the production mode.

Despite being fully covered in camouflage, it was spotted having a similar headlight setup as the concept avatar, a massive bonnet with an aggressive road appearance, and automatic ORVMS with integrated indicators.

It has been reported that the EV will be developed on a specialized platform, offering it well-built quality and reliability. The report also suggested eVX will be equipped with a 60kWh battery pack, providing a smooth driving experience with decent power on multiple terrains.
It has been claimed that the e-SUV will be capable of providing a max range of around 550 km on a single charge, and will make it perfect for both long tours and daily commutes. However, the company is yet to comment or share a concrete statement about the same.
Expected Price
When it comes to the price range, the model is expected to enter in Indian market at a starting price between Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 23 (ex-showroom).
