The French car manufacturer Citroen has been getting a decent response for their cars, all thanks to advanced features and eye-catching design. In move to spread roots in India, the brand is gearing up to add automatic trim in the C3 Aircross series. However, the company is yet to share further related details about the same.
Some reports suggested the company might release the vehicle in January itself. Ahead of the official launch, it has been reported that some dealerships even started taking the bookings for the vehicles. Interested ones can reserve the vehicle in advance by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000.
Citroen C3 Aircross Automatic
If launched, the automatic variant will be positioned between the C3 and the C5 Aircross, unlocking more options for the customers in the lineup to choose from. It is expected to come with similar features, and will have a 5+2 seating configuration, with the removable feature of the third row if needed.
Features
The SUV will be packed with tons of features from the inside as well, featuring a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, supported by all the wireless car connect technology. A digital instrument cluster, roof-mounted blower, dual climate control, parking sensor, speed alert, seat belt reminder, and cruise control can be counted as some other notable features.
Engine and Power
Meanwhile, the ongoing C3 Aircross features a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which generates a max output of 108 BHP at 5,500 rpm and 190 Nm at 1,750 rpm. The same unit is likely to be paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
