Ferrari has finally unveiled one of its most-anticipated Le Mans-winning Ferrari 499P Modificata sports prototype cars at the recently held Ferrari World Finals at the Mugello Circuit.
The limited series non-competitive track use model is a modified version of the 499P that won in the Centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June this year. Now this unveiling comes as a part of the celebration of the company’s historic return to endurance racing in the ongoing season.
The Ferrari 499P Modificata car has been priced at around 5.1 million euros (approximately Rs 44 crore).
The car has been strictly reserved for non-competitive use by “gentleman drivers”, and thus will be only sold to selective customers.
Customers will also have the access for 2 years and will be also able to take part in a few racing events organised by the Ferrari itself. In case the customer wants to use a specific racetrack of his/her own choice, an additional fee will be charged based on which they will also get access to the firm’s F1 maintenance team.
