As more and more automakers and customers focus on safety, Ford may have joined the movement with additional airbags in the Figo Aspire.
Recent reports suggest, the Titanium AT trim of the Figo Aspire can now be purchased with five additional airbags, including knee airbags for front passengers, however Ford has refused to comment upon whether or not the addition has been made.
If true, the Aspire AT would be the first, in the Rs 10 lakh price range, to get front knee airbags.
With an increase in demand for cars with automatic transmission, the Aspire Titanium AT may see a boost in sales, after such important additional safety feature. Ford also set an example by introducing ABS and EBD in the Trend variants of the Figo and Aspire siblings.
