The two-wheeler giant Yamaha has been putting efforts to boost its product line in India. It has been reported that the company is likely to bring its tech-loaded Tenere 700 into the country.
The maker did not hint or reveal any official details about the same as yet. However, some reports say that the introduction of the model is expected to take place somewhere in late 2025. To note, these details are based on reports and speculations, concrete information about the upcoming offering is yet to be shared by the brand.

If rumours are to be believed, the company has already kickstarted the groundwork for the project. Even, the price range is not known yet. However, this vertical might be a bit challenging for the company as most of the premium segment ADV bikes import directly from Thailand and get import duty benefits.
The Tenere 700 ADV is expected to be brought from Japan.
Overall Design
Talking about the design, it could feature the same style statement as international spec. It might get an aggressive front fascia, featuring a matrix LED headlight setup (similar to BMW R1300 GS), decent-sized transparent wisor, sleek turn indicators, and knuckle guards on the handle.
It might come with mult-terrain tyres, complimented by dual disc brakes at both ends. This will allow the customers to have better control of the vehicle while pushing the limit off-road.
Engine and Power
At the heart, the Yamaha Tenere 700 might use the same 689cc, parallel-twin engine. It will generate a maximum power of 72 BHP and 68 Nm peak torque. The unit will be mated with a 6-speed gearbox.
