Kawasaki W175 gets two new colour options. The Metallic Ocean Blue cost Rs 1.31 lakh, Candy Persimmon Red is priced at Rs 1.24 lakh.

Kawasaki India unveiled its W175 Street retro-style motorcycle in December at India Bike Week 2023 in Vagator, Goa, for a starting price of Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new Kawasaki W175 Street has undergone some cosmetic changes, including the addition of new colour options. In the manufacturer’s lineup, W175 Street comes in front of the W175 model. The colour schemes, alloy wheels, and tubeless tyres are the only things that separate the W175 and W175 Street.

As per the latest updates, Kawasaki India has released two new colour options for the W175. They are Metallic Ocean Blue and Candy Persimmon Red and they cost Rs 1.31 lakh and Rs 1.24 lakh, respectively. Apart from these two-colour schemes, the W175 is also available in Ebony and Metallic Graphite Grey, which cost Rs 1.22 lakh and Rs 1.29 lakh, respectively. Meanwhile, all prices shown are ex-showroom.

Kawasaki W175: Everything You Should Know About It

A 177 cc fuel-injected air-cooled engine powers the Kawasaki W175 bike. Its maximum torque output of 13.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm and 12.82 bhp at 7,500 rpm are produced by the engine. There’s a 5-speed gearbox in service.

The W175 has a steel double cradle frame. The suspension system consists of hydraulic shock absorbers at the back and 30 mm telescopic forks with 110 mm of travel up front. A 270 mm disc brake with a dual-piston calliper up front and a drum brake at the back are responsible for providing stopping power.

Mentioning the other sections, the W175 has a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres and a ground clearance of 165 mm, which should be sufficient for daily city use. The seat height is 790 mm, which should be comfortable for most people, and the wheelbase is 1,320 mm. The length of the motorcycle is 2,005 mm, the width is 805 mm, and the height is 1,050 mm.

The W175 has a single-channel anti-lock braking system, a peashooter exhaust, 17-inch spoke wheels, a semi-digital instrument cluster, halogen headlights, and circular turn indicators. Additionally, the retro style of the Kawasaki W175 is well known. It boasts a long seat, round rear-view mirrors, a headlamp, and front and rear 17-inch spoke wheels. It has a retro-style semi-digital instrument cluster.

The new W175 Street costs Rs 1.35 lakh, which is Rs 12 thousand less than the W175’s starting price of Rs 1.47 lakh. The Yamaha FZ-X, TVS Ronin, and Royal Enfield Hunter 350 all compete with the W175 Street.
