Ever since Mahindra Launched the tech-loaded XUV400, it received an overwhelming response from customers in India. The vehicle not just boosts the company’s sales, but also contributes to the EV segment. Now, the homegrown carmaker is gearing up to introduce the Pro models of the existing EC and EL trim.
As per the details shared by Rushlane, the above-mentioned upcoming models are seen in the company’s internal presentation, giving hints to hit the Indian market soon. These models either will be launched alongside with existing models or will replaced them completely. They are likely to be called EC Pro and EL Pro. However, the company is yet to share the official related details about the same.
XUV400 Pro Models Feature
The report says that most of the trending features will be carried forward in the upcoming model. The company is also likely to add rear AC vents in future models as it is the major missing in both XUV400 and ICE model XUV300. When it comes to other notable features, customers can expect an updated 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with all wireless car connect technology including Android, Apple and Auto CarPlay.
The vehicle also will be equipped with a wireless charger, USB charging port for rear passengers, multiple parking sensors, multi-functional steering wheel, dual climate control, shark fin antenna, and the list goes on.
Design and Styling
Talking about the overall design, upcoming models are likely to share a similar body style as the current XUV400. However, some cosmetic changes from both inside and out are expected. The EV will continue to offer LED headlights, LED DRLs, fog lamps, aggressive front grills, roof rails, new logo on front and back, among others.
Battery
Under the hood, the Mahindra XUV400 will feature a 34 kWh battery pack with EC Pro and a 39.5 kWh battery unit in both EC Pro and EL Pro. The vehicles will come with multiple driving modes that include Fun, Fast, and Fearless. It will do a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 8.3 seconds.
