New Delhi: After the world’s first origami car by Lexus, it is the time for the Nissan Juke crossover that has been recreated into a life-sized origami inspired machine.
To mark the 5th anniversary of the car, Nissan commissioned origami artist Owen Gildersleeve to build a replica of the Juke crossover.
Built in collaboration with model maker Thomas Forsyth, the paper model, an exact replica of the Juke, took over 200 hours to build and the paper shell was formed of around 2,000 separate folded polygons.
The result is breathtakingly beautiful. However, unlike the Lexus IS Saloon origami car, the one by Nissan can’t be driven around.
