Subaru Crosstrek, 2018 Outback to Debut in New York Auto Show
The new design language is entitled, "Dynamic x Solid," and the new 2018 Crosstrek will be the second of the company's vehicles built in the new style.

Subaru is going big at this year's 2017 New York International Auto Show with two reveals. As well as the revised 2018 version of the Outback making its debut at the show, the Japanese automaker will also be unveiling the redesigned 2018 Crosstrek, which represents a new interior and exterior design language for the brand.

A revised version of the FB 2.0-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine will power the new Crosstrek, with the powerplant now utilising direct fuel injection and other enhancements for better performance. The 2.0-liter is mated to a standard six-speed manual transmission or an available Lineartronic CVT in base and Premium trims, while the Limited gets the CVT featuring a seven-speed manual mode function with steering wheel paddle shifters as standard.

Also featuring at the show for the first time will be the 2018 version of Subaru's biggest-selling model, the Outback. Along with the all-new Crosstrek, the 2018 Subaru Outback will be arriving in showrooms this summer. The Outback features revised front and rear styling along with a number of significant upgrades intended to make it more comfortable and safer than the 2017 model, and its multimedia capabilities will also be enhanced for the new model year.
