Vistara, the renowned joint venture airline, took flight on Wednesday, introducing nonstop weekly flights between Mumbai and Frankfurt.
The maiden journey, powered by Vistara’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, embarked from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport at 13:00 Hours (IST) on November 15, destined for Frankfurt International Airport at 17:30 Hours (GMT).
With the launch of this exciting route, Vistara strengthens its presence, having already operated six weekly flights between Frankfurt and Delhi.
Vinod Kannan, the Chief Executive Officer of Vistara, highlighted the airline’s commitment to catering to the evolving needs of Indian travelers, stating, “Recognizing the demand for top-notch Indian airlines connecting to premier European destinations from Mumbai, we initiated 5x direct flights to London Heathrow.”
This strategic expansion underlines Vistara’s dedication to offering a world-class flying experience and fostering seamless connectivity to long-haul destinations, marking a significant milestone in the airline’s global journey.
