Mkts in red again after strong opening
The Sensex and Nifty, after opening trade in the positive territory have slipped again. The Sensex is down 185 points.

Mumbai: The markets have come off its opening high and slipped into red.

Currently the Sensex is trading at 11205 down 185 points.

The Nifty is at 3398.55.

Among the major losers are the metal stocks. The metal index is down 3 per cent.

Other major losers were ONGC, Tata Steel, SAIL, Nalco, Hero Honda and Dr Reddy's.

Earlier the Sensex had recovered at opening trade on the Bombay Stock Exchange by gaining over 305 points, after the Finance Minister P Chidambaram said that FIIs are assessed as investors.

The Sensex had seen a historic crash of 826 points in Thursday’s trading session.

Even after the FM's statement on Friday, the market has not picked up.

It's a sentiment driven market on Friday.

Retail investors have been advised not to get into the market. Experts say wait and watch.
