Ayalaan Teaser Out: Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Promises Joy Ride Of Action And Comedy

Excitement abounds among Sivakarthikeyan’s fans as the highly anticipated teaser for the sci-fi fantasy extravaganza Ayalaan was unveiled on Friday. Directed and penned by R Ravikumar, the film embarks on a captivating journey centred around the arrival of a celestial being on Earth and Sivakarthikeyan’s valiant efforts to shield it from relentless scientists bent on exploiting it for research purposes. This intriguing premise bears an uncanny resemblance to Rakesh Roshan’s iconic 2003 film, Koi… Mil Gaya, which featured Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta culminated in a heroic rescue of the endearing character, Jaadu, granting him extraordinary powers.

The teaser opens with a glimpse into the world of relentless scientists, immersed in perilous experiments that threaten to unleash an apocalypse. Their explorations led to the astonishing discovery of dinosaur-like creature eggs. However, the narrative takes a cosmic turn when a spaceship descends upon Earth, ushering forth an enigmatic alien entity imbued with otherworldly abilities. As scientists scramble to capture and confront the extraterrestrial visitor, Sivakarthikeyan and his loyal comrades extend a hand of friendship, offering refuge and camaraderie.

The first half of the teaser brims with heart-pounding action sequences, while the latter half delves into the heartwarming dynamics as the alien endeavors to assimilate into human society, while a budding romance blossoms between Sivakarthikeyan and Rakul Preet Singh. The teaser’s captivating climax leaves audiences intrigued, as the alien attempts to decipher a radio, inadvertently unleashing the tunes of a soul-stirring Tamil melody.

The official logline of the teaser reads, “Ayalaan is a science-fiction movie that promises to take you on a thrilling ride to space."

Sharing the Telugu teaser of Ayalaan, the Dasara actor Nani wished the team success on X. “Wishing dear Siva (Sivakartikeyan) a huge success with Ayalaan. This looks like a great idea and lots of effort. Can’t wait to watch. Best wishes to the team," he tweeted.

Siva Karthikeyan also responded to the tweet and wrote, “Thank you so much dear, Nani will catch up soon."

Ayalaan is produced by RD Raja under the banner of 24AM Studios Kottapadi J Rajesh. The music of the film is scored by AR Rahman. The film also features Isha Koppikar, Sharad Kelkar, Yogi Babu and Karunakaran in pivotal roles. The film will be released in five languages- Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. It is gearing up for a release on Pongal 2024.
