Virudhunagar District Issues Complaint Numbers To Stop Overcharging Of Leo’s Tickets
If higher prices are charged for the film’s ticket, one should immediately contact the numbers shared by the administration.

Thalapathy Vijay’s much-awaited action movie Leo has hit the theatres today. Vijay’s fans have been eagerly waiting for the film with great enthusiasm for a long time. Finally, the wait is over. Amid all this, news of Leo’s fake ticket scams and overcharging in ticket bookings in various places of Tamil Nadu’s Virudhunagar district is doing the rounds. Now, to solve these problems, a notice has been issued in the district, stating that one can’t charge more than the ticket fare fixed by the government.

The district administration has also issued a press release, saying that from October 19 to 25, the theatres can screen five shows daily. If higher prices are charged for the film’s ticket, one should immediately contact the numbers 9445000475, 9445000474, 6374559271, or the direct assistant of the District Magistrate, 9445008161, to report a complaint.

Earlier, a similar notice was issued by the district collector of the Thiruvarur area in Tamil Nadu. He announced that strict action would be taken if Leo’s movie tickets were sold at high prices in theatres in the Thiruvarur area. He said that the special scenes for Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo will only be screened from October 19 to October 24 (maximum 5) from 9.00 am to 1.30 pm only. For this, appropriate measures would be taken to ensure proper safety, transportation, and parking facilities for the public and audience, on the days of special scenes screening of the film and to prevent overcharging and the expensive sale of food and snacks.

He also said the general public can file complaints to the Thiruvarur Revenue Divisional Officer (Mobile No. 9445000463) and the Mannargudi Revenue Divisional Officer (Mobile No 9445000464) if ticket prices charged are excessive.

Leo is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced jointly by SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy. Along with Vijay, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Arjun, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Priya Anand in pivotal roles. Leo is said to be the third instalment in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, following Vikram in 2022.
